Job Summary

We are actively seeking detail-oriented individuals to serve as Asset Protection Associates. In this role, you will monitor the sales floor, support inventory control initiatives, and act as a visual deterrent to external theft. You will work closely with store leadership to ensure that all safety and security protocols are strictly followed day in and day out. Because we are an employee-owned company, you directly benefit when you help protect our assets.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Floor Surveillance: Conduct continuous, highly visible patrols of the sales floor to deter shoplifting and ensure a safe shopping environment for all customers.
• Safety Compliance: Monitor emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and aisles to ensure the store remains compliant with local safety and fire regulations, preventing costly fines.
• Incident Support: Assist management in documenting security incidents, maintaining accurate logs of recovered merchandise, and writing detailed, objective incident reports.
• Operational Audits: Support the operations team by conducting routine checks on receiving dock procedures, high-theft merchandise displays, and cash wrap accuracy.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• High School diploma or GED required; criminal justice or security coursework is a plus.
• Prior experience in retail loss prevention, security, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
• Strong situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress scenarios.
