Job Summary

We are seeking highly experienced, results-driven professionals to step into the General Store Manager role. You will oversee all daily operations, drive strategic sales initiatives, and cultivate a culture of premier customer service. You will serve as the chief executive of your location, delivering the signature reliability that sets Shaw's apart in the grocery industry. This role demands a leader who can balance high-level financial planning with hands-on floor support.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Total Store Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to grow sales, increase customer retention, and maximize the profitability of the location.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct department managers across all zones (Grocery, Fresh, Front End, E-commerce) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with corporate goals.
• Asset Protection: Partner with Loss Prevention teams to audit store processes, ensuring high safety standards and minimal shrink.
• Talent Development: Cultivate a robust bench of future leaders, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering an environment of continuous learning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 5+ years of progressive retail management experience is strictly required, with previous General Manager experience highly preferred.
• Must possess deep knowledge of retail P&L, inventory control, and workforce management systems.
• Outstanding leadership capabilities with a proven track record of turning around underperforming metrics.
